A lovely Royal Doulton square dish, decorated with 'Love in a mist' on a peach blush ground, wide fluted border with lavishly gilded shaped rim. Rd No 184626 gives a date of 1891 when the design was first registered, some pieces we have are impressed with month & year numbers 00 & 02, whilst the Lion & Crown backstamp was first used in the latter half of 1901 would suggest that this piece is c. 1902

Very Good Condition - No chips, cracks or crazing.
